Jo's Memorial Walk/ Bike Ride 2016
This year the event was held at the Falkirk Wheel, courtesy of Scottish Canals.
50 friends and family turned up on the First Day of Spring and it was glorious weather. Not a cloud in the sky and everyone took off on feet or bicycle, with dogs on leads and walked either to The Kelpies at the Helix and back or along the canal towards Linlithgow. Some under 10s covered 8 miles and were very ready for the burgers and sausages being BBQ'd. These were kindly donated by Brian Devlin a generous and lovely butcher from Dollar
The rolls came via a roll fairy to my car at 5am and had been donated by Paul and Carol from the Cafe Deli at the Stirling Mart
We made £425. All proceeds will go to the Brain Tumour Trust who are having a big collaborative research effort to diagnose this cancer earlier.
Thank you to everyone for their support.
